Due to the group being self financing we help raise funds for both Arts & Crafts group and Camera Club. We will at times make and sell handmade/handcrafted goods for local Fairs. We use sessions to make and create things, hold workshops whilst other sessions we will go and explore ... we have being to art classes, workshops and exhibitiokns.
Our group has access to art and craft equipment and supplies as well as tools, we all pitch in and like to give suggestions on various techniques.
If you fancy trying out a different craft you have not tried before, please email us for more information on our comprehensive list of what members have use of within our meetings. (This will be in the form of a word document)
We encourage that members help out with fundraising events i.e with making items for any fundraising Fairs/events.
During normal sessions members are expected to help keep the meeting room clean and clear and pack away at the end of every session. It's all team work and we all like to pitch in.
As an added bonus we have access to tea making facilities with the use of a small kitchenette, members usually bring their own lunch... one must keep up energy levels for all that crafting.
We look forward to hearing from you or just come along.
